Went to my very first Yelp meetup tonight. The venue was just down the street at the Hawai’i Children’s Discovery Center in Kaka’ako.

There were food booths, drinks, DJs, photo booths, artists, make-up & massage people, and other assorted activities. Everything was free! (Click on the Yelp logo to see the full line-up of participating restaurants & vendors.)

It was a really good turn out, maybe 300-400 or so. I dunno. The first floor of the museum was packed.

Everyone had a really good time. I thought it was a pretty neat thing. Imagine, this couldn’t have happened just a few years ago.

Hope to go to more in the future….
