Thank you so much for your wonderful Christmas cards! I really enjoy them! They’re the only Christmas decorations that I have up in my condo. And so sorry for not printing cards of my own. I promise to do so one day. But for now, this is it. Here is my “Christmas card” to you. Merry Christmas!
And no Christmas card would be complete without the customary “year in review” blurb, written in 3rd person. So here goes….
“Alan had a blessed 2012. Here are some of the highlights:
In March, Alan was able to visit Italy & Spain with a Kamehameha High School tour group. It was a dream come true.
Since Spring Break, Alan has been on a mission to find the best phở on O’ahu. This quest has taken him on weekly walks into Chinatown. After sampling 18 restaurants, he believes that he has finally found it.
In June, the entire KS EdTech Team attended the ISTE Conference in San Diego. It was a tremendous learning opportunity and a time for team bonding.
Alan was blessed to have started a bible study / care group in town. You are all invited.
He also celebrated a landmark birthday in July. Yikes….
In August, the Kamehameha Middle School moved into its brand new campus. It has been an exciting year thus far.
Alan has grown professionally this year via TEDx events. He has attended TEDxYouth@Punahou, TEDxManoa, and TEDxHonolulu. He also participated as a guest blogger for a TEDxHonolulu Salon event.
And finally…. After a 2-year hiatus, Alan has returned to Big Brothers Big Sisters as a volunteer mentor. He believes that this is one of the most important things that he does.”
So thanks again for all of your cards. May this blog post bring you good cheer for the holiday season. God Bless you guys!
“Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
