Here’s a missions trip update to my last post. Can’t believe that it’s less than a month away….

Got my shots way back in December. Really felt the tetanus one. I also have typhoid medication sitting in my fridge.

Got my scrubs in early April. Went to Goodwill on Beretania. Didn’t know what I was doing. A kind shopper (who was a nurse) helped me out. After explaining that I was going on a missions trip, she picked out things for me to try on. She was a godsend.

The big news is that my request for a visitation with my sponsored child in the Philippines has been approved! This would be a dream come true.

Recently, our missions team has been bonding. We’ve been meeting regularly, and we truly enjoy one another’s company. After our round of minigolf, we enjoyed a Thai dinner at Siam Kitchen. We’ve become a family.
