Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas guys! Here’s my 2nd ever Christmas card blog post. Here’s last year’s. And no Christmas card would be complete without the customary “year in review” letter. Let’s do this….
2013 started off with a great musical at the Blaisdell! Great show & great company!
In February, I camped over at Keawewai on the Big Island to participate in the Kamehameha Schools’ Koa Reforestation Project. It was a great cultural experience, and many new friendships were made.
I also took up a new hobby in 2013, longboarding! So far so good….
In March, I was blessed to give the message at a Kamehameha Middle School chapel service.
In May, I was blessed to be a part of the Inspire Church Medical Missions Team to Thailand. It was life changing! (Pastor John Sriwichai, bottom right.)
On my way home, I was able to visit my Compassion sponsored child in the Philippines. It was a dream come true.
The annual Kamehameha Schools Education Technology Conference in June launched the new dance crew, HotZone. Haha….
I was fortunate to co-facilitate a cohort at the Punahou Summer Lab School with Lorelei. Everyone in the cohort became close friends.
Punahou’s summer programs also provided a reunion with good friend Ryan from Osaka, Japan. We had great fellowship.
2013 marked 10 years of service at the Kamehameha Schools. Time flies….
Our Connect Group (Bible study) is still going strong. We meet at 6pm every Wednesday night at Mocha Java Café in the Ward Centre. Consider yourself invited.
I moved up to the high school this school year. I have now serviced the preschools, elementary, middle, and high school campuses. So blessed to be a part of a great team.
And in November, I was blessed to take part in the RDFZ Xishan International Summit in Beijing. The best part was spending time with great friends Jessie, Sunny, Raj, and C.Y. An amazing experience….
What did I learn in 2013? The experiences of 2013 have redefined what is possible….
May this blog post bring you good cheer for the holiday season. God Bless you all!
“Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:10-11
