Attended the Equip & Inspire Conference this past Tuesday-Thursday at Inspire Church. The conference was excellent (as they always are.) This year’s theme was “Propel.” The worship was amazing, the teaching was incredible, and the fellowship was edifying.

The highlights for me were Pastor Chris Hodges teaching on the “Heart for the Lost” and Pastor Steve Kelly teaching on “Faith” (Luke 8:22-25.)

I was also blessed to serve at the Compassion booth. A total of 37 children were sponsored during the conference.

While manning the booth, I was also able to reconnect with many old friends. Got to meet up with my missions team, Pastor Nolan (Inspire Church Metro Manila,) friends from Hope Chapel Kapolei, and friends from Kapolei Elementary.

So blessed, and inspired to do more….

Attended the E&I Conference this past weekend. Had an amazing time! What’s cool is the number of different churches throughout O’ahu joining together to participate and fellowship.

It was hosted by my home church, Hope Chapel West O’ahu in Waikele.

The worship was passionate, and the teaching was excellent. I was especially inspired by Steve Kelly‘s sermon on “Resisting Smallness” and Steve Murrell‘s sermon on “Even If….”

I was privileged to have worked the Compassion booth. There were 22 children who were sponsored at this conference.

Another highlight for me was driving the HCWO van for the first time. The regular driver was running late, so I was asked to pick up some of the volunteers who parked at the elementary school. Of course, I didn’t know how to open the door….

Blessed to have served at E&I 2012. Looking forward to next year!

Just got back from the Equip & Inspire Conference, hosted by my church, Hope Chapel West O’ahu. There were about a thousand people in attendance from over 22 different churches throughout our islands. The teaching was outstanding! Although every conference is amazing in it’s own way, I thought that this one was especially good. I believe that some conferences speak into your life more than others depending on your season and life’s circumstances.

A highlight for me was reconnecting with good friends from Hope Chapel Kapolei. Our reunion brought back such fond memories. I also had a blast at Friday night’s Youth Remix.

Although I’m kinda exhausted from back-to-back 13-hour days, I’m feeling equipped & inspired. Looking forward to E&I 2012….
