Packing Day

Packed up, prayed up, and ready to go! Tomorrow is the big day. The medical missions trip to Thailand / Philippines is almost here. Thank you for all of the prayers and support. Please continue to keep our missions team in your prayers.

I will try to post pics on Facebook & Twitter if there is wi-fi access. I will be without phone service there.

Looking forward to serving. So blessed….

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19

Missions Trip Update

Here’s a missions trip update to my last post. Can’t believe that it’s less than a month away….

Got my shots way back in December. Really felt the tetanus one. I also have typhoid medication sitting in my fridge.

Got my scrubs in early April. Went to Goodwill on Beretania. Didn’t know what I was doing. A kind shopper (who was a nurse) helped me out. After explaining that I was going on a missions trip, she picked out things for me to try on. She was a godsend.

The big news is that my request for a visitation with my sponsored child in the Philippines has been approved! This would be a dream come true.

Recently, our missions team has been bonding. We’ve been meeting regularly, and we truly enjoy one another’s company. After our round of minigolf, we enjoyed a Thai dinner at Siam Kitchen. We’ve become a family.

Getting excited as our trip approaches. Please continue to pray for us. Follow us on Facebook.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

It’s Official

It’s official! After much prayer, I will be going on a medical missions trip to Thailand next May. This will be through my church, Hope Chapel West O’ahu. We will be going to Mae Sot, Thailand, which is on the western boarder next to Burma (Myanmar.) I will be serving there for two week before returning home. The rest of the missions team will continue on to the Philippines for an additional week. We will be partnering with local churches to set up clinics in schools.

I am very blessed to be serving. I humbly ask for your prayers.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

P.S. Someone once told me that providing financial support may be the only way for some people to ever participate in a missions trip. If you are interested in supporting me, here is a pdf form with instructions on making a tax deductible donation.
