Tonight was the POW! WOW! Hawai’i Finale at the Honolulu Night Market in Kaka’ako. It was a blast!

“POW WOW IS A GATHERING OF CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS THAT ENGAGES WITH THE BROADER COMMUNITY IN THE PROCESS AND CREATION OF ART.”

On my walk over, I came across this wall. This piece is actually in 3-D. A girl there let me borrow one of those paper 3-D movie glasses. It really worked!

This mural is across from the Mother Waldron Park.

The artists were super cool and very appreciative.

Found myself in a “selfie zone.” Didn’t know what else to do….

At the Night Market, there were food booths, entertainment stages, pop-up boutiques, and even a fashion show. I had the Lamb Kebab Pita from Kan Zaman for dinner. It was ono!

There were DJs and more activity at the studio. POW! WOW! were selling their merch here.

Checked out the pop-up shops at the Kaka’ako Agora and visited with the Kamehameha Surf Team. They had a booth there. Ran into a few friends along the way. Had a really great time at Night Market! Oh yah, Happy Valentine’s….
