Go Bows….

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Football season! Chee-hoo!

Yes, we’ve been rotten-ugly for the past 6 years. But this year is different. We got game. I’m predicting 10-3. Check that. 13-0! #Payback

This season we get to play defending National Champs, THE Oiho State University at the “Horseshoe.” We’re gonna shock the world! #ShockTheWorld

Time to don the green & white.

Hamachi Poke from Tamura’s.

Gonna be a party every Saturday night in ‘Aiea Heights. The company will be amazing, and the poke will be ono….

Go Bows!

Go Bows….

It’s that time of the year again! Football! And this year, our team should be better. Well, we were 1-11 last year. No really, our team should be much improved.

Time to don the green & white.

Gonna catch the games via PPV with good friends….

….and good food.

Go Bows!

Go Bows….

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The 2013 University of Hawai’i football season is finally here. Each Saturday night, we gather together with friends for a PPV party. Win or lose, there’s always good food, good friends, and good times.

Hopefully, this year will be better than last. So far, we’re 0-3.

But if our QB starts throwing to his own team, and our receivers catch the ball on those rare occasions, look out! We might just shock the world.
Go Bows….

Chow Fun?

I love chow fun (noodles.) But this year’s UH football season? Not so much….

Now I love UH football! I bleed green & white. It was part of my childhood. I remember running onto the field at the old Honolulu Stadium (a.k.a. the “Termite Palace”) and collecting chin straps as souvenirs from UH players. I remember guys like Larry Sherrer, Levi Stanley, and Alex Kaloi. Back in college, it was the Noga brothers and Gary Allen. “Let’s-Go-Bows!”

We are currently 1-7 with Boise State coming up. Not good. I’m sure that we’ll be back next year, but for now…. tears.

Do you remember? Just 5 years ago, we were undefeated, conference champs, and BCS Bowl bound. The sun shined brighter, traffic was lighter, and the poke tasted “more fresh.”

Now that was fun….

Go Bows!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…. football season! Yes, I’m a diehard UH football fan. Unfortunately, we got smashed in our opener at USC. Still, there is potential for a successful season.

But it’s all about the party. I used to be a season ticket holder. Now I get together with friends to watch it on TV. Good food, good friends, good fun, and good times!

Oh, and the pokē is always ono….
