Summer time is all about the sun, the surf, and blockbuster movies! And I’ve enjoyed going to the movies since “small kid time.”
So it’s nice that the Ward Stadium Theatres are only three blocks away from my condo.
Dinner is always at Buca di Beppo. We usually have the Spicy Arrabbiata pizza. So ono….
It’s just a time to relax and have fun. Whether the movie is good or not, we always have a blast. Thumbs up….
Went to the Garlic & Ginger Festival last night at the Ward Warehouse parking lot. Unusual to have an event on a Thursday evening, but it was jam packed! And it was kinda cool.
For entertainment, there was a nice lineup of local 70s R&B bands. They provided good energy for the event. There was even a beer garden.
I purchased scrips and checked out the food tents. It was especially crowded, because they bunched up all of the food booths together. I got a ginger chicken slider for dinner. It was good.
For “dessert,” I got braised short ribs from 3660. So ono! It made my face light up….
Had a nice time at the event. Hope they have more of these.
Met up with some friends at the Ward Entertainment Complex tonight. Had dinner at Buca di Beppo™. The Spicy Arrabbiata Pizza was soooo good! Talked about life, Barack Obama, & Brett Favre. Caught a movie. Capped off the night with a mocha frappuccino at the downstairs Starbucks. Good times….
